Filmed over the course of four turbulent years in Hawai’i, HULA is a feature-length, vérité documentary that follows the extraordinary journey of Laʻakea Perry, a Kumu Hula (hula master teacher), as he and his all-male hālau (hula school) from Waiʻanae, Oʻahu, strive to keep their one-of-a-kind style of hula alive.

As far as he can remember, 10-year-old Pecos Tatum wanted to be a cowboy. His parents, who come from a long line of rodeo cowboys and cowgirls, are guiding him every step of the way. But it's a way of life that is quickly disappearing. Follow a family as they fight to remain cowboys.
